A well-funded, mission-driven fintech company is seeking senior software engineers with applied Clojure experience to expand their remote-first engineering team. The company is focused on scaling its digital lending platform, helping borrowers reduce debt, and has refinanced over $6B in loans to date. Role: Software Engineer (Clojure)
Tech Stack: Clojure (primary), ClojureScript or other front-end technologies (secondary, open to React, JS frameworks)
Location: Fully remote; LATAM candidates preferred for time zone alignment

Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain clean, well-tested APIs in Clojure.

- Leverage AI tools to increase productivity.
Required Experience
- At least 4 years of total software engineering experience (does not need to be 4 years of Clojure experience)
- Practical, hands-on Clojure experience (not just coursework; building in production environments)
- Strong grasp of functional programming concepts (Elixir, Scala, Haskell, or Lisp experience can be relevant if combined with applied Clojure exposure)
- English proficiency (can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read)
- Comfort with start-up pace and culture; high sense of ownership and accountability
- Open communicator who values feedback and collaborative problem-solving
