Descripción del empleo:

-We are hiring Backend Java Developer with DevOps for a US Software Company.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Development of Whitebox Monitoring framework and libraries for backend applications.
  • Implement instrumentation in backend applications in collaboration with dev teams.
  • Design and development of the Monitoring and Traceability dashboards using tools like Datadog, Stackdriver .
  • Work with engineering teams on evangelizing the usage of white box monitoring within their systems.
  • Working closely with the technical lead on whitebox monitoring and quality/reliability teams.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Advanced English.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Application.
  • 6 years experience as a JAVA developer.
  • 4 years of hands on knowledge of design and development of Web Applications an distributed Microservices.
  • Live in Mexico

 

Knowledge in:

 

-RDBMS.

-Unit Testing.

-Multi-threading concepts.

-Setting up cloud test environments using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services.

 

Bonus point:

 

  • Experience with: Kubernetes/ Cloud/ Big Data/ Hadoop.
  • Knowledge of Big Data/Hadoop MR/Spark/Workflow.
  • Knowledge of logging frameworks/tools e.g. Open Tracing, OpenTelemetry, Datadog.
  • Experience with Observability, traceability, SLA/SLO/SLI tracking.
  • Experience in monitoring tools like Datadog, Cloud watch, Splunk etc and building dashboards in Looker, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
