Role: BA Data Analyst, IT PMO
Leading multinational company in the manufacturing of medical devices, based in Danvers, USA, is looking for a BA Data Analyst.
As a BA Data Analyst within the IT PMO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology initiatives by bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders. Combining your business acumen, analytical mindset, and understanding of project management, you will ensure projects align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value. You will achieve this by leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making and optimize our digital product portfolio, which includes core applications like Salesforce and SAP.
In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Product Management, Engineering, Data Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other departments. You will proactively use data and analysis to identify business outcomes and solve product development’s biggest challenges, in order to help us define the measurable definition of success for digital products, and influence product strategy and investment decisions with data.
Responsibilities:
Outcomes Seeking: Lead discussions with IT and business stakeholders to identify and analyze desired outcomes. Establish measurable links between digital products, enterprise priorities, and business outcomes. Utilize data-driven insights to ensure projects deliver value aligned with strategic goals. Help IT teams to prioritize development efforts based on data analysis and projected impact. Provide support on the definition of success metrics for key digital products, setting quarterly and annual targets through OKRs.
Data-Driven Perspective: Guide teams in leveraging data to drive decision-making. Develop hypotheses and utilize a diverse toolkit of analytical approaches, methodologies, and frameworks to test them. Empower teams to utilize existing data effectively and generate new data sources where necessary. Facilitate data-driven prioritization and decision-making processes.
Communication and Influence: Communicate data-driven insights in a clear and compelling manner, translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations. Influence stakeholders and build consensus through effective storytelling and data visualization. Establish credibility as a trusted advisor through structured, clear, and insightful communication.
Project Support: Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, track progress against milestones, and proactively manage risks and issues.
Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, analysis findings, and recommendations to stakeholders. Deliver impactful presentations and reports that clearly convey key insights and drive informed decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst within a business function, or a similar role, preferably within an IT PMO environment.
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (preferably Python or R), with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to generate actionable insights.
Proven experience in data storytelling, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualizations and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate the connections between technology investments, data-driven initiatives, and measurable business outcomes, with a focus on driving strategic decision-making and business growth.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to define project objectives, develop analytical approaches, and drive project execution.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.

- Those who work as contractors have "10 working days of paid vacation (15 PTO days a year total)". Holidays are those of the place of residence.
